Dietrich Eckart Krankenhaus Serving Tray

Offered is a very scarce original mess hall serving tray from the Dietrich Eckart Krankenhaus (hospital) in Berchtesgaden.  The tray is made of white porcelain. Rim is trimmed with a thin alternating gold and black bands.  One side of the tray bares the hospital logo, also in gold and black.  Base is marked Rosenthal Selb Germany Helena.  Measures 8x12".  The insignia part of the insignia and sections of the band have faded, otherwise the condition is excellent.
